IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM PIPPIN'S ROOST

Dear Customers,

Because of increases in petroleum costs, the manufacturers of the hand feeding syringes, plastic dishes, plastic bags for packaging, and the transportation to get the stuff to me, have all raised their prices.

Unfortunately, to stay in business, I have to pass some of these costs on to you, and accordingly am raising my prices for syringes, brooders and other supplies as of February 1. Any orders received on or before January 31, 2006 will be at the old prices, even if what you request has to be backordered.

However, because postal service rates went up as of January, I must raise my shipping costs now, as most small packages travel by US Postal Service. Please check the shipping rate information for the new prices.

Thank you for your business, and I truly regret the necessity of having to raise prices.

	For a long time I've been looking for the kind of matting that I could use either on the floor of my brooder OR in the brooder cups themselves. I've finally found it! Announcing a PIPPIN'S ROOST BEST FIND! This brooder matting is made from a single filament of plastic, and allows feces to pass through the mat to the bottom of the cup. This means that the babies are not sitting in their own poop between feedings. It also gives the chicks something to hold on to. And, best of all, you can chuck the mats into the dishwasher or washing machine for real thorough cleaning. You can disinfect them as well, as they're stable with chemicals.
